Quantization of Prior Probabilities in Bayesian Group Decision-Making, S.M. thesis, Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, MIT, September 2010
Aggregation and Influence in Teams of Imperfect Decision Makers, Ph.D. thesis, Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, MIT, June 2014

Joong Bum Rhim received his B.S. degree, summa cum laude with honors, in Electrical Engineering from KAIST, Daejeon, South Korea, in 2008. At KAIST, he worked in the Wireless Communication Laboratory (WICL) and the Communication Networks Research Laboratory (CNR LAB). In WICL, he analyzed rateless codes by using density evolution and designed an optimal degree distribution of LT code for AWGN channel. In CNR LAB, he built a model to analyze the saturated throughput of WiMedia devices in the mixture of CSMA/CS protocol and a reservation-based mechanism.

Joong Bum was supported by the Korea Foundation for Advanced Studies (KFAS).
